The Outstanding Service to Dental Hygiene Award recognizes one hygienist every year for outstanding service to our profession. This hygienist should demonstrate qualities of leadership, professionalism, innovation, inspiration and mentoring.
Carol Benson was a WiDHA member and an ADHA District 7 trustee. She passed shortly after her term as trustee and the award was renamed to honor her.
