Infection Control Virtual CE & Social – 2 credits

The course will present new OSHA information on standards specifically related to dentistry and COVID-19, as well as the current CDC guidance for dental healthcare providers to reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission dental settings; including strategies for best practices to ensure the health and safety of team members and patients. The course will provide the rationale for compliance through an evidence-based approach consisting of literature and current events on prevalent risks associated with the delivery of dental care in the era of COVID-19. The course fulfills the infection control continuing education requirement for Wisconsin licensure.
