Meet Our Lobbyist

Peter Theo has been a licensed lobbyist in Wisconsin for over 30 years representing several health care professions, including the Wisconsin Dental Hygienists Association. Prior to becoming a lobbyist, Peter worked as a legislative aid and clerk for the Assembly Health Committee Chair, Representative John Robenson. In 1989, Peter was hired by Quarles and Brady Law Firm as part of their newly formed Government Affairs Section. Peter continued at Q&B until 1996 when he decided to open his own consulting firm- Theo Consulting & Management LLC. Peter has represented several diverse clients with interests in healthcare, business/association management, manufacturing, and political consulting. As legislative counsel for the WI-DHA, Peter has assisted in building an effective legislative presence in the Capitol and regulatory agencies. He has earned a solid reputation with numerous Governors and their staff, lawmakers, regulators, and his fellow lobbyists.

Born in Madison, Peter grew up within one mile of the State Capitol where he spent a significant amount of time as an adolescent. He attributes this experience in part for his love of the legislative process and interest in politics. Peter attended the University of Wisconsin Madison where he earned his Business and Political Science degrees.
